Hand Picked Shiraz 2024
A rare wine made from bunch-selected, estate-grown shiraz grapes from a single vineyard. Hand-plunged, pressed and placed in American and French oak barrels for 18 months, resulting in a great expression of Shiraz grapes. A fine wine, full of fruit and aromas, a beautifully balanced Shiraz to enjoy now and that will reward if properly cellared. Only 1,250 bottles of this first release under the DOG LAKE label.
Dog Lake Shiraz 2025
The grapes were sourced exclusively from our low- yielding DOG LAKE vineyard in the great wine region of Langhorne Creek. Aged in a mix of American oak and French oak barrels for 12 months to finish the wine with a fresh and vibrant full-bodied character.
DOG LAKE SHIRAZ will surely delight your palate. In the glass, it shows elegant black fruit tones, with a well-balanced, smooth finish. Careful cellaring will provide further rewards.
The label honours our beloved Dog, Luis, our Australian Cattle Dog, who roams the vineyards, chasing rabbits and kangaroos. Luis admires the stars, the four members of our family who, with enthusiasm and hard work, have made this creation: The Dog Lake Shiraz 2025.
